Here’s what happens:

You show someone a credit card, explaining that the best pickpockets don’t take your wallet. They take only what’s inside. You then have the spectator securely sandwich it in their hands, so that nobody could get to it.

You then bring out an ordinary marker shown freely on all sides. At any moment you choose, you wave it over the credit card… they instantly watch ALL the credit card numbers print right onto the marker. As a kicker, they open their hands. They then realize that the credit card has been there the entire time, yet somehow the numbers have impossibly vanished.
